Dr. Nowicki has completed a Phase I EPA Grant titled: "New Granular Sorbent Sulfurization Process for Vapor- and Liquid-Phase Mercury Control." Parties interested in this new PACS product for mercury control should contact Dr. Nowicki about EPA Phase II and III opportunities with your firm. Dr. Nowicki is interested in licensing the technology and working with licencor to help solve this problem. This project includes an innovative method to impregnate GAC with a wide variety of chemicals to solve many problems.
Cost-sharing to support future commercialization efforts is needed to advance the PACS solution for electric power plants to remove mercury and other toxics from their flue gas emissions. This PACS solution is a low cost option with good profit opportunities. Confidentiality and quick movement by a dedicated team will be needed to capitalize on this market place – mercury removal and regulatory compliance for the electric power industry.
