This seminar provides the basic knowledge need to identify and understand the destructive nature of water and its impact on water systems. This two-day seminar discusses potential water treatment problems and preventive actions to be taken. Course material covers cooling and boiler process, besides pretreatments from raw water clarification to reverse osmosis and ion exchange. Both closed and open recirculating systems will be discussed, chemical treatment to control the various forms of corrosion, scale/deposit agents, microbiological control, and monitoring.
This two-day course is held twice a year close to Pittsburgh International Airport; also it is scheduled monthly in major cities. Call for upcoming dates. The course includes a course notebook, notes, and refreshments. PACS provides other courses on activated carbon and allied topics.
